The 10th World Junior Wushu Championships 2026 will be held in Tianjin, China from March 25 to 30.
As one of the six official events of the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), the World Junior Wushu Championships is held biennially. It stands as the world’s largest, highest-level and most influential wushu event for young athletes. Since its inaugural edition in 2006, nine editions have been successfully staged, building a global platform for young wushu enthusiasts around the world to showcase their skills, exchange techniques and learn from each other. This year’s Championships marks the first time the event has been held in mainland China, and more importantly, at the historic milestone of its 10th edition, it serves as a crucial prelude to wushu’s debut in the 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
